The Nafs Today screen: 14 days clean, today's prayers with ticks, the oasis world, and buttons for I have an urge and I slipped

Block it

Haram sites stay blocked.

Nafs blocks adult websites and the apps you pick. On Android it works through Accessibility, right on your phone. When Nafs blocks something, a lantern lights up in your world.

  • Adult sites blocked, day and night
  • Lock the apps that pull you in
  • Blocked moments light lanterns in your world
  • No browsing history collected

Beat the urge

When it hits, tap one button.

“I have an urge” opens a calm screen that breathes with you: in for 4, hold for 4, out for 6. It shows the intention you wrote in your own words, and gives you a dua to say. More tools are one tap away.

  1. Breathe with the circle.
  2. Read your own intention.
  3. Say the dua.
  4. Let it pass. The app reminds you: “This urge is a wave. It rises, it peaks, it passes.”

Watch your world grow

Every clean day builds something.

Your clean days raise an oasis, from lines in the sand to a lit citadel. The landmarks you reach stay yours.

  1. Day 0 The foundation is drawn in the sand.
  2. Day 14 The walls are up and the gate is tiled.
  3. Day 60 The minaret rises over a lit palace.
  4. Day 365 The citadel is complete, with gardens and a market.

Fortress

Earn screen time with worship.

Lock the apps that eat your day. Prayer, Quran and dhikr earn back time for them.

  • Prayer-time lock, free for everyone. Your locked apps pause for 15 minutes at each prayer, until you log it.
  • Strict mode. Lock every app during prayer time, except calls and messages.
  • Iron Intention (Pro). Turning off your guard needs a 24-hour cooling-off.

How the prayer-time lock works

The Nafs Fortress tab: guard on with adult sites blocked, one app blocked, lock apps at prayer time switched on, strict mode, the 24-hour lock, and earn back time

FAQ

Honest answers

Is Nafs free?

Yes. The core is free forever: the adult-site blocker, locking the apps you pick, the prayer-time lock, urge help, your oasis world, the prayer log and Quran. Nafs Pro adds every lesson in all three courses and the 24-hour lock. You can try Pro free for 3 days, and your app store shows the price in your own currency.

Does Nafs work on Android and iPhone?

Yes. On Android, Nafs blocks through Accessibility, right on your phone. On iPhone, it uses Apple’s Screen Time permission, so the block screens look different and some features work differently.

Can I just turn it off?

Yes, it is your phone. If you want it to be harder in a weak moment, turn on Iron Intention (Pro): turning off your guard then needs a 24-hour cooling-off.

What happens if I slip?

Tap “I slipped”. Nafs thanks you for being honest, your clean-day count starts again, and the landmarks you already built stay standing. Your slip is never shared with anyone.

Will anyone know I use Nafs?

Only if you tell them. On your phone the app is just called Nafs, reminders are neutral, and notifications have no previews.

Does Nafs see what I browse?

Blocking happens on your phone. Nafs does not collect your browsing history. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what the app does collect.

Which languages does Nafs speak?

15: English, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, French, Malay, Bengali, Hausa, Swahili, Persian, Pashto, Hindi, German and Spanish.
